RVsitebuilder 7 on CloudLinux Server
My servers, all of them uses CloudLINUX and are set to use PHP from
CloudLINUX and not from cPanel. So, ea-php71 does not exist instead we
use alt-php71.
1. Is there a way to force RVSB 7 to use ALT-PHP instead of EA-PHP ?
Answer
On CloudLinux server, the account that uses RVsitebuilder 7 to create website will use environment and configuration by account setting. Let's say that, if the account was defined to use cPanel PHP and config, RVsitebuilder 7 will call all configuration and requirements by cPanel, if it's defined to CloudLinux RVsitebuilder 7 will call them on CloudLinux config automatically.
Once the correct configs are called, they have to meet the minimum requirements below.
- php extension 'mysqlnd','pdo','gd','curl','iconv','mbstring','fileinfo','exif','zip','posix_getpwuid','json'
- php ini config 'memory_limit' => 64M
2. We are using Cloudlinux with PHP Selector. If possible can you please
add that RvSitebuilder automatically updates the Cloudlinux PHP selector
with the needed features or at least checks if the webhosting account
has the needed PHP features enabled during installation?
By default we use a minimum of PHP modules in each customer Cloudlinux
to increase website efficiency.
Answer
RVsitebuilder 7 installer works on required PHP checking and puts error if some disabled.
About update PHP automatically by requirements, we will have to check this further if it will be working and the possibly problems after auto update are in concern.
We will let you know whether it will be done or not.
