SSL Pricing for Japan
Symantec raises prices for SSL certificates in Japanese Market Symantec™ announced on the 18th of December 2014 that it will enforce a new price list for SSL certificates in Japan from 15th January 2015. As a result of that, Symantec™, the world’s largest Certificate Authority (CA), has mandated a price hike for all SSL certificates sold in Japan. Symantec™ advised that the reason behind this action was to align all partner pricing and encourage and reward in-market focus, investment, and support for all Symantec™, Thawte™, GeoTrust™ and RapidSSL™ branded SSL and Code Signing Certificates sold to Japan. This new pricing adjustment will be applied to - all certificates sold to companies who are located in Japan, host their website or domain in Japan, or has a .JP extension.Any partners who retain their SSL certificate business in Japan.Any customer who wants to buy or renew an SSL certificate in Japan.Any domain name or website hosted in Japan.Issuance of a certificate which holds the domain extension of Japan such as .JP For the above mentioned reason we are very sorry to inform that RVSSL won’t be selling any certificates in Japanese market in order to keep the internal business flow smooth. At any point, if Symantec™ implement any better pricing then we will be ready to make Resellers from Japan also we will be more than happy to sell all SSL certs in Japanese market. The steps before SSL Certificates be issues from Brand Authority are following. Please learn it related to your SSL Certificate order. The approval steps of SSL Certificate for DV order.1. Customer submited CSR with identification information at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/2. The Email Approve submitted will be verified and received the email approval to identify and confirm domain's ownership.3. After the two steps above were done. The SSL Certificate will be sent to Administrator and Technical Contract as defined in the order. Or you can download the SSL Certificate at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/ (The SSL Certificate will be issued within 24 hours after 2 previous steps completed. In case, you don't receive any email, you can download it manually) If there's any problem in domain verification for DV SSL Certificate, the Brand AUthority will contact customer directly by Administrator and Technical Contract as defined in order. Please keep in touch with those email addresses for the time being. The approval steps of SSL Certificate for OV order.1. Customer submited CSR with identification information at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/2. The OV SSL Certificate order will need to be verified by the Brand Authority at least 2 days, usually longer.3. Once the Organization of the order passed the verification by Brand Authority, the verification email will be sent to Administrator Contract. Customer must idcentify and confirm the Organization ownership.4. After the ownership verification passed, SSL Certicate will be sent to Technical Contract as defined in the order. Or you can download the SSL Certificate at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/ If there's any problem in domain verification for OV SSL Certificate, the Brand AUthority will contact customer directly by Administrator and Technical Contract as defined in order as more documents probably be requested such as, Certificate of Incorporation or Business License, Professional Opinion Letter, or Verification Call appointment. Please keep in touch with those email addresses for the time being. The approval steps of SSL Certificate for EV order.1. Custemer submited CSR with identification information at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/2. The EV SSL Certificate order will need to be verified by the Brand Authority at least 2 days, usually longer.3. Once the EV order verification passed by the Brand Authority, a Verification Call Appointment email will be sent to Administrator and Technical Contract as defined in the order. Customer must check the email to accept the Verification Call Appointment or request a new appointment if inconvenient.4. After the Verification Call between Brand Authority and Customer was done, SSL Certicate will be sent to Technical Contract as defined in the order. Or you can download the SSL Certificate at https://rvglobalsoft.com/clientarea/services/ssl/ If there's any problem in domain verification for EV SSL Certificate, the Brand AUthority will contact customer directly by Administrator and Technical Contract as defined in order as more documents probably be requested such as, Certificate of Incorporation or Business License, Professional Opinion Letter, or Verification Call appointment.
