Import projects from RVsitebuilder 5.2 to 5.4 (Old WYS to New WYS)

If you want your current project which was created since RVsitebuilder 5.2 to be imported as a project in RVsitebuilder 5.4 and use New WYSIWYG with new features from 5.4. You can do the following.

1. Create a new project

2. In the new project, create the same pages you have in your current project.

3. Open the page editor and copy Source code to paste in the new page editor in the new project.

*You may open two projects in the same time in order to copy and paste the data using two browsers.

4. Edit size of all your images and tables in the page (Page by Page)

How to set width to 100%.

Go to step 3, and click the page editor of the page you have inserted image or table.

1. Once the page editor is opened, please click "Source" view to open code editor.

2. Once the code editor is opened, please search for "width"

3. Change the current width value to "100%" for EVERY width appears in this page.

4. Save it.

5. Copy all files and folders under folder:

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{old_id}/documents

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{old_id}/images

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{old_id}/media

and place in:

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{new_id}/documents

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{new_id}/images

{home_user}/.rvsitebuilder/projects/{new_id}/media
